"VH1 Presents the '80s" is a five-part documentary series that aired on VH1 from November 4 to November 8, 2001, at 10:00 p.m. (ET/PT) each night. Each hour-long episode delves into how 1980s music mirrored and influenced societal views on politics, money, technology, fashion, media, drugs, race, and sex.

The series features interviews with prominent artists and figures from the 1980s music scene, including Cyndi Lauper, Nancy Wilson, Willie Nelson, Dee Snider, and many others. The first episode, titled "Hour 1: Pop," was directed by Ken Fuchs and written by Bernie Kaminski, featuring appearances by Bono, Boy George, and Jimmy Carter.
