The Detour is an American comedy television series created by Jason Jones and Samantha Bee about a family vacation road trip. The series premiered on TBS on April 11, 2016. The show was renewed for a second season on April 6, 2016, five days prior to the series premiere. The second season premiered on February 21, 2017. On April 25, 2017, TBS renewed the series for a third season.
