The Cat in the Hat Knows a Lot About That! is a Canadian-British-American animated television series that premiered on September 6, 2010 and on October 20, 2018, on PBS Kids in the USA, CITV in the UK, and Treehouse TV in Canada. The award-winning series is based on Random House's Beginner Books franchise, The Cat in the Hat's Learning Library, and is developed by Portfolio Entertainment, Random House Children's Entertainment, Collingwood O'Hare Entertainment, Collideascope Digital Productions, Treehouse TV Original Production, CITV Original Production, and PBS Kids Original Production. The first season has 40 half-hour episodes. PBS Kids, CITV, and Treehouse TV renewed it for a second season of 20 episodes.
