Poppets Town (also stylized as PoppetsTown) is a Japanese-influenced animated children's television series produced by Decode Entertainment and Neptuno Films in association with the OLC Rights Entertainment. It is based on the characters created by Japanese author Jun Ichihara. The series aired on Knowledge Network and TVOKids in Canada. The show follows the adventures of Blooter and his best friends Patty and Bobby as they solve everyday problems with their other friends in Poppets Town.
Characters[]
- Blooter (voiced by Cory Doran) is a blue dog who wears no clothes, (the red collar and backpack as exceptions), and loves to ride his scooter. He also likes being a rapper.
- Patty (voiced by Bryn McAuley) is a yellow cat who wears a pink dress with light-colored flowers and a blue bandana, and loves to ride her helicopter and carries a laptop. Her favorite instrument are the drums.
- Bobby (voiced by Cameron Ansell) is an orange bear who wears a yellow shirt with pink polka-dots and a blue hat, and loves to ride his van, and carries a camera. His favorite instrument is the guitar.
- Alli (voiced by Martin Roach) is an alligator with a red and white striped shirt and a red hat and wears glasses. He works at a music store and drives a ladybug car. His favorite instrument is the saxophone, piano, and keyboard.
- Cocori (voiced by Julie Lemieux) is a chicken with a pink shirt and blue scarf. She has a red helmet and wears roller skates. She works at a cafe and drives an egg-shaped car.
- Cozy (voiced by Adam Reid) is a red and white striped zebra who look after the crossroads and rides a blue horse.
- Captain Cap (voiced by Adam Reid) is a sheep who used to be a pirate and drives a duck boat.
- The Naka-Nakas (voiced by Richard Binsley) are trio of monkeys with a striped shirt, a ribbon scarf, and a funny hat, and drives a banana car. Their favorite instrument are the bongo drum.
- Candy is a caterpillar of different colors.
- Mathilda is a bee with orange and red stripes and loves to ride her Patapata.
