Falling Skies is an American science fiction television series created by Robert Rodat and executive produced by Steven Spielberg. The series stars Noah Wyle as Tom Mason, a former history professor who becomes the second-in-command of the 2nd Massachusetts Militia Regiment, a group of civilians and fighters fleeing post-apocalyptic Boston following an alien invasion that devastated the planet six months before the events of season 1. The series was premiered from TNT on June 19, 2011 and concluded on August 30, 2015, for a total of five seasons and 52 episodes. The series produced by DreamWorks Television—and from 2014 to 2015, being a production from Spielberg's Amblin Television and Warner Bros. Television
